Sherri's Bio

Sherri Rowton has devoted nearly three decades to fundraising and development, serving with the Dallas Arboretum, National Review Institute, and Auburn University’s College of Sciences and Mathematics. At Auburn, she witnessed firsthand the life-changing power of education, partnering with alumni and donors whose generosity provided millions of dollars in support of deserving students.

Now as part of the Alabama Opportunity Scholarship Fund  and C2 team, Sherri is eager to collaborate with businesses and individuals to help transform lives across our great state. A proud resident of Opelika, she has been actively involved in civic organizations including the Lee County Literacy Coalition, Youth for Christ, and the Opelika Historic Preservation Society. Sherri and her husband are the parents of two adult children.
